- 4 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup peas, boiled and mashed
- 1 tsp ginger, finely grated
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- Salt to taste

Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, mashed peas, ginger, green chilies, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, bread crumbs, and salt.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat, round patties (tikkis).
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with tamarind chutney or mint chutney.
